Scientists believe 3I\/ATLAS may be older than our solar system itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In December 2025, astronomers confirmed that the comet will make its closest approach to Earth around December 19, passing at a safe distance of roughly 170 million miles (about 270 million kilometers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
